The small island of \u00c5r\u00f8 lies in the Little Belt off Haderslev Fjord, not far from Halk Strand Camping. With just under 6 km\u00b2 and around 150 inhabitants, the island is a peaceful destination for a day in nature.<\/p>\n

The ferry sails from the harbour village of \u00c5r\u00f8sund, and the crossing takes only 7\u20138 minutes. Bikes and cars can come along \u2013 perfect for a cycle ride around the island.<\/p>\n

\u00c5r\u00f8sund is a short drive north of Halk Strand Camping. Combine the island trip with a walk by the harbour in \u00c5r\u00f8sund and return to the beach at Halk in the evening.<\/p>\n
